United Way of Hall County envisions Hall County residents will have the life skills and resources to be self-sufficient.
What We Know *- While state-wide the number of babies born to mothers with less than a 12th grade education has remained steady over the last 15 years, Hall County numbers have increased. The percent of Hall County babies born to mothers with less than a 12th grade education is almost double the state percentage. This number varies greatly by race or ethnicity.
- Due to the aging population of Hall County, The Guest House (hyperlink) has seen a 16% increase in the average daily attendance since 2006.
- In 2008, 20% of Hall County families with children were living at or below 150% of the Federal poverty guidelines. For a family of four, this represents $33,075 annually.
